This was taken one early morning on the River Avon as the majestic swan was bathing itself in the freshness of the new day. It wsa a foggy morning and as the sun rose over the trees it began to burn the river mist away and create a surreal atmosphere for the photograph. This art print is available as fine-art poster print or canvas art. The image itself has only had contrast, whitebalance and saturation improvements made in Photoshop.

This wildlife photograph has proved very popular, winning Photo of the Day on Earthshots, appearing on the official Nikon calender 2008 and winning in the National Wildlife Federation competition 2008.
